Kimberley College Sixth Form students study a wide variety of Level 3 courses, leading towards traditional and applied A-levels or vocational qualifications such as BTECs.

Students in Years 12 and 13 can also access a broad range of extra-curricular activities including Sports, Formula 24, Performing Arts productions, Public Speaking, Law Group, College Councils, Amnesty and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

 

To follow our Level 3 curriculum of 3 A Level or BTEC equivalents our students are required to meet both the entry criteria for the relevant pathway and they need to achieve the specific entry requirements for each subject they propose to take where appropriate. It is important that you make choices carefully. Firstly, read the subject information and speak to subject teachers who will be able to explain to you what each course involves. Secondly, you will need to consider what you wish to do after your Sixth Form studies. There are many options open to you; many students will be aspiring to go to university or to College for further study, whilst some will choose to move into employment or apprenticeships after Sixth Form. Whatever it is you aspire to, it is very important that you fully research the qualifications you need to enable you to achieve your ambitions.
